SeaPort Manatee is a restricted access area regulated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, including the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Persons entering SeaPort Manatee are subject to security screening and must be guests of a specific port business, tenants, or agencies or be conducting verifiable port-specific business. All individuals requiring unescorted access must possess a valid Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC). Individuals not possessing a valid TWIC are subject to the port’s USCG-approved escorting requirements.

Media Guide:
To visit the port, media representatives must contact the port’s communications department at (941) 932 1006 or communications@seaportmanatee.com to make arrangements and receive instructions. Media representatives receiving access to the port will be issued a visitor badge and escorted by an individual with access to the restricted area. Access to the port is contingent upon current operating conditions to ensure the safety of visitors.

Visitors to SeaPort Manatee must proceed to the Access Control Center located at the SeaPort Manatee North Gate Entrance.
