Port Manatee awarded $1.8 million-plus security grant, facilitating advancement of three major projects
Port Manatee has been awarded a $1,837,500 security grant, allowing the port to proceed with three significant projects.The award, the second-highest for any Florida port in the latest round of grants offered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, facilitates full funding for each of the three projects named in the request of the port, which is putting forth a required 25 percent match.


Port Manatee to sponsor Import-Export North America 2014 Conference 
The Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) and Finished Vehicle Logistics have teamed up to host a special one-day conference focused on vehicle movements into, within and out of North America. Taking place on August 13th in the Passenger Terminal of Port of Baltmore, the event will attract OEM's, ocean/short-sea carriers, terminal operators and many more. The conference is hosted by the Port of Baltimore as the Premier sponsor and with Port Manatee as Silver sponsor.
